New series of Nashville photographs shot on black and white film

New series of Nashville photographs were shot on one day, on a single roll of film

This batch of Nashville photographs were all shot on one roll of black and white Ilford Delta 400 film, in a single day of walking around town. They were shot using a fun little '70s-era travel camera made by Olympus.

Prints available

These photographs are available as two types of black and white prints: 1) Archival pigment print on 100-percent cotton fine art paper, or 2) museum quality traditional-style silver gelatin fiber-based print on baryta-surface photo paper. Read more about the prints here.

Note that your print will contain the characteristic film grain evident in film stock, which most people consider a desirable effect of analog film photography.

I love this section of downtown Nashville with old brick buildings running along the riverfront of the Cumberland River. Actually the backsides of buildings that now comprise the Second Avenue entertainment area, the tall, flat brick surfaces have long been signboards. Now layer upon fading layer can be seen, including the distinctive circa early 1900s ad for Syracuse Plows at bottom left.
