Keith Dotson photos chosen for movie “Why Him?” starring Bryan Cranston and James Franco

Cranston, Franco film scheduled for Christmas 2016 release

I’m thrilled to announce that four of my black and white landscape photographs were selected for use on the production of the movie Why Him? starring Bryan Cranston, James Franco, Zoey Deutch, and many others. Typically, the photographs appear as framed wall art on one of the film’s sets. Why Him? is set for a Christmas 2016 release. (Scroll down for the official trailer).

I can’t wait to see where — and if — my photographs actually make it onto the big screen. I previously had several photographs used by the 2012 film Sparkle, but none of them made it into the final cut nor received any screen time. Hopefully, this time some of them will appear! Either way, I’m flattered that the art director chose my pieces.

You may also have seen my photographs as wall art on the sets of TV shows Melissa and Joey, Grey’s Anatomy, Lady Dynamite, and Gossip Girl.

All of the photographs licensed for the film were shot in the beautiful state of Wisconsin.
