In the publicity photograph above, Keith's black and white photograph can be seen in the center, hanging between two other photographs by unidentified artists.
The owners of Bogartz are brothers Bruce and Scott Bogartz, who previously operated a popular food truck in Knoxville. Bruce Bogartz was formerly a personal chef for actors Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson.
The restaurant opened on Nov. 10, 2018, in Atlanta's Sandy Springs neighborhood. The food is southern style with an upscale gourmet twist, and includes some Cajun dishes on the menu. Whereas most southern meat-and-three diners might offer fried chicken or BBQ, Bogartz offers smoked duck, escargot spaghetti, shrimp poboys, ham and clams in Bloody Mary broth, and brie beignets, with sides like parmesan creamed corn.
