Vintage 'Vic Suhling Gas for Less' Neon Sign on Route 66 - Black and White Photograph (KDX5748X)
Keith Dotson Photography
Black and white photograph of a classic Route 66 neon sign that says "Vic Suhling Gas for Less." The sign was erected in 1957 for a gas station along the Mother Road in Litchfield, Illinois. Suhling's gas station closed in 1968 — the building was demolished in 1990 — and the sign still stands in its original location over the site of a museum and Route 66 welcome center.
