Magical sparkles: Black and white photographs of rainy days and nights

Having been raised in the hot, dry, dusty climate of central Texas, I have always found rainy days to be a soothing, beautiful, almost magical time. Rain brings out richer colors in the landscape. It cools the air. It greens the grass and perks up the flowers. And it sparkles!

Below are a few of my favorites from my Rain and Fog Collection.
